Braille Battery a leading supplier of batteries to the racing industry releases the first Lithium 12 Volt Carbon Fiber Encased batteries. The new Lithium MICRO-LiTE batteries incorporates Braille’s proven race winning Lithium technology is now being applied to small (MICRO) format, high power lithium technology (LiTE) products to be used for lightweight and high performance battery needs. Released in the four most popular sizes used for motorsports, powersports, personal mobility and energy storage, the MICRO-LiTE line of Carbon Fiber batteries offer groundbreaking performance and reliability.

During late 2008 and 2009 Braille began working closely with top level racing teams and original equipment manufacturers to perfect the formula for producing a battery which would render lead acid batteries obsolete. These goals included huge weight savings, increased electrical performance, simple integration into existing systems and comply with the strictest safety requirements for racing. In 2009, the MICRO-LiTE B128L exceeded all these goals and became a trusted component in top level racing teams. Now, Braille adds to this sucesful formula with the creation of the full line of Braille MICRO-LiTE Carbon racing batteries.

Braille Lithium MICRO-LiTE batteries offer all the weight savings associated with the Braille brand, with up to three times more usable power than similar sized lead-acid batteries. Each new Lithium MICRO-LiTE Carbon Fiber model is designed to be a direct replacement for traditional batteries and compatible with most alternator systems with similar charge profiles for energy storage or starting performance use. If used with Braille’s Lithium chargers, the MICRO-LiTE Carbon Fiber batteries can be charged up to five times faster than conventional batteries to offer Rapid-Recharge capability, offering customer the ability have more run time and less charge time.
