ouch, that sucks. i remeber those days as it was yesterday....

2yrs ago i just finished buiding my motor when a balance shaft bearing slipped out. causing low oil pressure damaging alot of things. hope you're not as bad.

had that happen...... the shaft was actually wearing a hole in the block...... the bolt backed out of the rear one.......

NEWS UPDATE

This is what happens to pistons when you try to tune off a bad wideband and o2 sensor that read richer then it actually is... Pistons MELT!!

Cylinder/Piston #1 (melted through)




Cylinder/Piston #2 (cracked between top ring and oil ring)



Cylinder/Piston #4 (started to crack between top ring and oil ring)


Part of the piston welded to the cylinder wall from the heat...



The block is going to be bored/honed +.020 (86.5mm)

New parts going in...
CP Pistons 86.5mm, 9.0 CR
Total Seal Hell-Fire rings
Manley Rods
ARP Head bolts

Yes new WB is being ordered... might switch to the Innovate standalone wideband since you can calibrate the sensor and check to see if its working properly and also datalog and record your AF.

Manley rods are out of stock right now, so options #2 are the Brian Crowers.

Turbo is good up to 650hp i believe... i don't see myself running over 20psi just yet.
