They just have to hone the camaro block and its ready for assembly. my dad's been busy with his IHRA pro stock motors but should find time within the next few weeks. I'll keep you guys posted.

Yeh rob looks like the motor is coming along good. Makes you feel good that all you ran into was couple bad rings and carbon build up. Looks like there is no stress cracks on the pistons or rods. All that racing you did seems the motor can handle it. Hope you get it back together for nopi. If we get the weather we did last year and the way Ned prep the track you might get your personal best.

Doubt a personal best, but i just hope it runs good enough to race. The IPS cams are out and the stockies are back in. (needed the money and the ips's didn't do much for my setup)

I just hope the tune's alright without those cams. i might have to go back to my old tune and play with it to get it to run good with the 750cc injectors.

Well i'll be heading back to NY tonight to get the car back together and running. Some progress was made during the week... All parts ordered came in, John installed and hooked up the AEM UEGO and ripped out my Profec B boost controller (selling it, any takers?)... new DNA manual BC going in. I haven't talked to my dad yet, but he was supposed to get the head and pistons back together and ready to go back in the car so i'm sure thats done also.

pics and updates to come.

Well it took all 3 days to get it up and running. I drove it back up to Mass tuesday morning. I'm having idle issues due to the new throttle body. I've been trying to figure it out all week with no luck yet. I talked to BDL today and they told me something else to try, plus they are gonna send me another TB. So i'll hope to make progress tonight. The car still smoked on start up, so that leaves either the oil return line or the turbo itself.

Last night i brought it back down to Cisco's to modify the return line to come as straight down as possible so i'll find out later when i start it up if thats the problem. we also noticed an oil drip from underneath the turbo on the exhaust side... so its easy to assume new turbo to come!

I didn't take too many pics during the install since we were so busy with the install and getting it done. I'll take pics at NOPI this weekend.

List of things done:
AEM UEGO gauge installed
A/C out
Cruise control cable out
BDL 70mm TB
BDL TB spacer
P2R intake plenum
P2R IM gasket
Hose Techniques couplers
P2R T-bolt clamps
Innovative race mounts
Moroso breather tank
DNA manual boost controller
Cleaned up some pointless hoses and wires

Hey Rob, glad to see shes up and running again. Hope fully the smoking at start up will go away soon. Good luck with everything. And let me know what you think of that TB. I'm thinking about getting the same one. My cars been throwing CELs like a christmas tree and I think its from the TB. Keep yus posted on your progress

new return line didn't fix the start-up smoking problem. we did notice oil on the bottom side of the turbo leaking off the exhaust side, so the saving has begun for a new turbo.

I was able to get the idle a little better, but still not 100%. found a small vacuum leak thats seemed to help it. I got a new TB on the way to see if that will help and i will also check the IAC valve again because i only seem to be having a problem when the rpms fall below 3000 rpm.
